Hey PRIME Fans... PRIME has taken its Shake range in a completely new direction with the reveal of a Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts flavour!

The new 11 fl oz protein shake has appeared at Target in the United States, where it is currently listed as a new product priced at $2.99.

Inspired by the classic Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts, the shake promises the taste of sweet blueberry combined with swirled vanilla icing. It comes packed with 32g of protein while containing just 3g of sugar, and is also lactose-free and non-caffeinated. Like PRIME's existing Shake flavours, it is made using ultra-filtered milk and comes ready to drink in an 11 fl oz can.

However, the importance of this release goes far beyond simply adding another flavour to the PRIME Shake line. As far as we are aware, this is the first time PRIME has partnered with another established food or beverage brand to bring one of its recognisable flavours directly into a PRIME product.

PRIME has previously worked with athletes, sports teams, creators and major organisations to produce special bottles and campaigns, but the Pop-Tarts Shake represents something completely different. Instead of simply placing another brand's logo on the packaging, PRIME is bringing the flavour of one of America's most recognisable snacks into its own range.

This could also open the door for many more food and beverage collaborations in the future. Partnering with familiar household names could help PRIME reach customers who may not normally follow the brand, while creating unusual crossover flavours that generate attention beyond its existing audience.

Whether this remains a one-off Pop-Tarts release or becomes the beginning of a much larger collaboration strategy remains to be seen. Either way, the Frosted Blueberry Pop-Tarts PRIME Shake is certainly one of the most unexpected additions to the brand so far - and potentially one of its most important.
